For about thirty-eight years at this writing (1969) I have been engaged upon basic research into life and the humanities. This is basic or pure research and has the same genus as the effort of the early philosophers—to attempt to establish the identity of life as independent from matter and as associated with the material world and forms, which subjects are embraced by basic and developed sciences. The difference is that the research has been done from the viewpoint of scientific methodology in which I am trained.

One of the basic discoveries of Dianetics was that unconsciousness and all the pain
attendant upon it was stored in a part of the mind and that this pain and unconsciousness
accumulated until it caused the organism to begin to die
Another discovery of Dianetics was that this pain could be nullified or erased with a return to fullconsciousness and a rehabilitation toward survival.

3. Invariant scientific evidence as to the basic nature and functional background of the human mind.

Injuries, operations, delivery of babies, severe illnesses and periods of intense emotional shock all deserve to be handled with thorough and complete assists.

Injury and illness are predisposed (made more likely to occur) by the spiritual state of the person. They are precipitated (brought on) by the being himself as a manifestation of his current spiritual condition. And they are prolonged (extended in time beyond normal limits) by any failure to fully handle the spiritual factors associated with them.

Past lives, or times we have lived before, are suppressed by the painfulness of the memory of those former existences.
The memory is contained in mental image pictures which, on close viewing, are capable of developing a reality “more real” than present time.
Where a person has been tortured or killed without adequate reason, the injustice of it causes him or her to protest by holding in suspension in time the picture.
To restore the memory of one’s whole existence, it is necessary to bring one up to being able to confront such experiences.
